What do I charge? What do I show? How do I get booked?

You know how to take photographs. The hard part is building the business around them.

That's what I was built for. Ask me. I'll answer, learn how you work, and start making something useful.

Ask what to charge. We'll talk it through, find your floor, shape your packages, and protect your time and profit.

Say, "Those prices look good. Prepare that website update for my approval." I will prepare it in the same conversation, with no new tool.

When an inquiry arrives, I organize the details, draft the follow-up, and help move it toward a booking.

I build local search pages, plan useful content, prepare review requests for your approval, and help the right clients find you.

In the Founding test release, I can deliver private galleries, run test print ordering, and give every client an experience as polished as your work.

Website. Business Coach. Marketing. SEO. Pick the mode that fits the job.

The context comes with you. Talk through a decision, get an answer, and watch the work take shape. Nothing changes without your approval.

Want a person? Request human support. An asynchronous reply comes back in this conversation with the supplied context already there.

You bring the talent. I'll handle the tech behind the business. Ask Patsy. Right now.

Founding release status: The film shows the connected Patsy experience available in complete test-mode journeys: four conversation modes, approved website publishing, leads, appointments, galleries, products, approved review requests, billing, referrals, and shared-context human support. Stripe remains in test mode and Prodigi remains in sandbox until live go-live.

Forget the slogan for a moment

These are the questions we built Patsy to answer.

Not compressed benefits. Not invented testimonials. These are the practical questions and private insecurities photographers carry into the business. If any of these questions sounds familiar, then read on to see exactly how Patsy is designed to serve photographers just like you.

01Status and identity pains

Does the business look as professional as the work?

  1. 01My photographs look professional. The rest of my business doesn’t.
  2. 02I want clients to see a real photographer, not someone experimenting with a weekend hobby.
  3. 03I don’t want clients to know I’m fitting this around another job.
  4. 04I want to look established without pretending to be a giant company.
  5. 05I want to feel legitimate to clients, other photographers, my family, and myself.
  6. 06I’m not confident enough to charge what my work may be worth.
  7. 07My current site makes me hesitant to send people there.
  8. 08My business looks generic even though my photography has a distinct style.
  9. 09I want to be perceived as organized, responsive, and dependable.
  10. 10I want the status of running a serious studio without photography consuming my entire life.
02Revenue and growth pains

Where is the next good client coming from?

  1. 01I don’t know how to find qualified clients consistently.
  2. 02I’m relying on friends, referrals, and occasional social-media luck.
  3. 03I post on Instagram but don’t understand how to turn it into bookings.
  4. 04I get inquiries, then people disappear.
  5. 05I don’t know which marketing activity is actually working.
  6. 06My website exists, but nobody finds it.
  7. 07People compare me primarily on price.
  8. 08I don’t know how to describe why I’m worth more.
  9. 09My packages and pricing are difficult to create and explain.
  10. 10I’m afraid displaying prices will drive people away.
  11. 11I don’t systematically ask for reviews or referrals.
  12. 12I know I should blog, work on SEO, update Google, and post content, but I don’t.
  13. 13I’m delivering digital files and leaving print revenue behind.
  14. 14I enabled print ordering, but clients still aren’t buying.
  15. 15I have no reliable follow-up process for old leads or past clients.
  16. 16A prettier website alone won’t solve my booking problem.
03Time and workload pains

How much of your life should the business consume?

  1. 01I already have a day job, family, shoots, culling, and editing.
  2. 02The business is becoming a second full-time job.
  3. 03I spend more time operating the business than taking photographs.
  4. 04Client information is scattered across DMs, email, texts, notes, and spreadsheets.
  5. 05I can’t always answer inquiries quickly while I’m at work.
  6. 06I feel guilty when a client waits for a response.
  7. 07I repeat the same answers about clothing, locations, scheduling, galleries, and delivery.
  8. 08I forget to follow up, request a review, send a reminder, or chase a deposit.
  9. 09My website and portfolio are always out of date.
  10. 10I want automation, but I don’t have time to build automations.
  11. 11I want help without sending clients robotic, generic messages.
  12. 12I need to manage this from my phone between everything else.
  13. 13I’m worried turning photography into a business will destroy what I love about it.
  14. 14I want more bookings, but I’m not sure I can handle the work surrounding more bookings.
04Software and operational pains

Why does every tool create another job?

  1. 01I don’t know which systems I actually need.
  2. 02I bought an ‘all-in-one’ and still need three other subscriptions.
  3. 03My website, booking, contracts, gallery, payments, printing, storage, and marketing don’t talk to each other.
  4. 04Every feature I actually need is one pricing tier higher.
  5. 05The software costs arrive before dependable booking revenue.
  6. 06Full-time-business software pricing makes no sense at my current volume.
  7. 07I want the automation, not an automation-engineering project.
  8. 08Giving me an SEO field is not the same as helping me with SEO.
  9. 09Giving me a control panel is not the same as helping me use it.
  10. 10My images look worse after the website compresses them.
  11. 11The desktop site looks fine, but mobile requires another round of adjustments.
  12. 12I need private galleries, favorites, downloads, print ordering, and client access, not merely a portfolio.
  13. 13I don’t know how long to retain galleries or what happens when storage fills up.
  14. 14Clients return years later asking for old photographs.
  15. 15Switching platforms means migrating years of galleries, contracts, customer data, and SEO.
  16. 16I feel trapped because leaving is harder than continuing to pay.
  17. 17When the platform fails, the client thinks I failed.
  18. 18When something important breaks, I need a person, not a support ticket three days later.
05Client-experience and reputation pains

What does every handoff feel like to the client?

  1. 01Potential clients don’t understand what happens after they inquire.
  2. 02My pricing and packages create uncertainty.
  3. 03Booking still requires too many messages.
  4. 04My delivery process looks improvised.
  5. 05Clients struggle to download photographs on mobile.
  6. 06I want galleries to feel like part of my brand.
  7. 07I need contracts, deposits, reminders, and boundaries to feel professional.
  8. 08I don’t want to awkwardly chase money.
  9. 09I want print fulfillment to be hands-off without risking poor quality.
  10. 10If the lab gets something wrong, I still have to apologize.
  11. 11One communication failure or bad review can damage years of trust.
  12. 12I want every interaction to reinforce that hiring me was the right decision.
06AI-specific fears and objections

Can I trust an AI inside my studio?

  1. 01Will this create another generic AI website?
  2. 02Will it make my business sound like everyone else?
  3. 03Does it actually understand photography?
  4. 04Will it understand my specialty and visual style?
  5. 05Do I have to learn how to prompt it correctly?
  6. 06Is this really easier, or is it another system to configure?
  7. 07Will it publish, message someone, or change something without permission?
  8. 08What happens to my photographs and client data?
  9. 09Are my images being used to train AI?
  10. 10Will clients think AI makes my work less authentic?
  11. 11Can I override it and use ordinary controls?
  12. 12What happens when Patsy is wrong?
  13. 13Can a human step in when something important goes sideways?
  14. 14What happens after the 14-day trial?

Questions working photographers actually ask

Before Patsy joins the studio.

Still wondering whether this fits the way you work? Contact human support at (724) 638-7754.

01What happens when I ask Patsy a question here?+

Patsy answers the photography-business question and may ask one useful follow-up so the advice becomes specific to your studio. The public conversation comes before account creation. Durable conversation access begins after verified email, card-backed trial, and successful activation.

02Is this another photography website template?+

No. Patsy starts with the studio facts you share, including specialty, location, services, and the kind of clients you want to book. The examples on this page use the same design system but deliberately look different because the businesses are different.

03I only photograph on weekends. Is this overkill?+

That is a primary fit for Essential. It keeps website, pricing, marketing, and SEO work in one photographer-specific context, with 25 GB of media storage, 100 monthly leads and 100 monthly appointments before an upgrade notice, up to 100 active products, 2,500 gallery photos, custom-domain preparation, and Prodigi sandbox integration.

04Can I keep my existing website while I try Patsy?+

Yes. Build, revise, preview, and publish to a managed Patsy URL without changing the current site. Custom-domain setup provides exact DNS records and a pending state. The photographer makes the external DNS change and completes final verification manually, after the new site, forms, redirects, analytics, and email records have been checked.

05Are private galleries and downloads part of the Founding release?+

Yes. The Founding test-mode journey creates a private gallery, uploads supported images, protects access with an expiring signed link or PIN, collects favorites, and allows controlled downloads. Storage and gallery-photo meters follow the selected plan. Keep independent originals because gallery storage is not a permanent archive.

06Can clients order prints directly today?+

Essential and Studio include products, a client cart, Stripe test checkout, and Prodigi sandbox fulfillment. The photographer must complete Stripe Connect hosted onboarding. No real card is charged and no physical product is produced until production credentials and live charging are enabled as a separate go-live step. Payment processing, production, shipping, and taxes remain separate provider costs.

07Does Patsy send messages or publish changes without asking?+

No. Website publishing and outbound review requests show the affected item and require recorded approval. Website versions are immutable and a previous version can be republished through the same approval gate. Paid print orders begin only after a signed Stripe test webhook.

08Can I use the controls instead of AI?+

The Founding release includes Studio controls for website versions and publishing, leads, appointments, review requests, galleries, favorites, downloads, products, orders, billing, plan usage, referrals, and human support.

09Do I own my photographs, domain, and content?+

Yes. Your photographs, supplied content, and domain remain yours. Keep independent originals and business records because Patsy is active delivery storage, not a permanent archive. Detailed bulk-export coverage for every Studio record is not promised in this release.

10Can a real person help me set it up?+

Yes. Patsy is built and backed by PA Digital Studio. Request product help from the current conversation, and Your human support receives the relevant context and replies asynchronously in that thread. Migration, custom implementation, or ongoing done-for-you studio work are separately scoped services.

11What happens after the 14-day trial?+

The paid plan selected during account creation begins unless you cancel before the trial ends. Essential is $19 per month with 25 GB of storage, 100 monthly leads and appointments before an upgrade notice, up to 100 active products, and 2,500 gallery photos. Studio is $59 per month with 500 GB of storage, unlimited legitimate leads, 2,000 monthly appointments before an upgrade notice, up to 1,000 active products, 25,000 gallery photos, blog publishing, weekly competitor intelligence, and weekly local map-pack heatmaps. The checkout must show the selected plan and renewal price before the card-backed trial starts.

12Will you use my photographs or feedback in marketing?+

Not without separate permission. Joining the founding group does not give us permission to publish your name, photographs, website, feedback, or results.
