The operating agreement behind a Patsy account

Clear terms before the card-backed trial.

These terms cover founding access, subscriptions, referral rewards, plan limits, studio content, AI-assisted work, publishing, print fulfillment, cancellation, and leaving Patsy.

Effective September 7, 2026

Terms of service

These terms are an agreement between the person or business creating a Patsy account and PA Digital Studio, the Pennsylvania company that operates Patsy and MeetPatsy.com.

Important subscription summaryVerified email and a card are required to activate a Founding 100 account. The selected monthly plan starts after the 14-day trial unless you cancel first. Essential is $19 per month and Studio is $59 per month. Current launch testing uses Stripe test mode and provider sandboxes until PA Digital Studio deliberately enables live processing.

Agreement and eligibility

By creating an account, beginning a trial, using an account, or clicking an acceptance control, you agree to these terms and the Privacy and Data Use Policy. If you create an account for a studio or another business, you represent that you have authority to accept these terms for that business.

You must be at least 18 years old and legally able to enter this agreement. Account information must be accurate. You are responsible for protecting login credentials and for activity performed through the account by authorized users.

Patsy is designed for photographers. PA Digital Studio can refuse or revoke access when an account is fraudulent, unsafe, abusive, unlawful, outside the intended product, or created to evade a limit or restriction.

Trial, payment, and automatic renewal

Fourteen-day card-backed trial

Activation begins a 14-day trial of the plan selected at checkout. A card is required. Unless you cancel before the trial ends, Stripe charges the plan price shown at checkout and the subscription renews monthly until cancelled.

Plan prices

  • Essential: $19 per month after the trial.
  • Studio: $59 per month after the trial.

Prices are in U.S. dollars unless checkout says otherwise. Taxes and separately disclosed provider or transaction fees can apply. We will give reasonable notice before changing the recurring price for an existing subscription.

Test-mode boundary

In the Founding release, Stripe can operate in test mode and Prodigi can operate in sandbox. Test cards are not charged and sandbox products are not manufactured or shipped. A test-mode journey does not create a right to a real product, payment, refund, or referral credit. Live processing begins only after PA Digital Studio explicitly enables it and the applicable provider account is ready.

Patsy Passes and referral rewards

An invitation code is not required to create an account. Existing referral arrangements remain available. Each qualifying founding account can receive up to five single-use passes. A pass can be shared with an eligible photographer, but it cannot be sold, auctioned, exchanged for cash, or used to create duplicate accounts.

A referrer earns one month of account credit only after the referred photographer completes a qualifying paid payment. Signup and trial activation alone do not earn a reward. Credit is applied to the referring Stripe customer balance or subscription as the system indicates. It is not cash, transferable property, or a guaranteed refund.

A refund, dispute, chargeback, fraudulent payment, self-referral, duplicate identity, reused payment method, coordinated abuse, or cancelled qualifying transaction can delay, deny, or reverse the reward. We can limit or end the founding referral program with notice, while honoring valid credits already earned.

Plans, capacity, and changes

Current plan features and capacities are listed on the pricing page. Essential includes 25 GB of active media storage, 100 monthly leads, 100 monthly appointments, up to 100 active products, and 2,500 gallery photographs. Studio includes 500 GB, unlimited legitimate leads, 2,000 monthly appointments, up to 1,000 active products, and 25,000 gallery photographs, plus the additional Studio features shown on the pricing page.

If an account reaches a published capacity, Patsy can pause new uploads, new active products, or another capacity-bound action until space is freed or the plan is upgraded. A real lead or confirmed appointment can be retained while the account receives an upgrade notice. Existing products, order history, and records are not silently discarded merely because a limit was reached.

An upgrade can take effect immediately and can result in a prorated charge or credit through Stripe. A downgrade can take effect at the next renewal and can require reducing usage first. Features, provider costs, and reasonable-use protections can change as the service develops. We will not describe a material reduction as if nothing changed.

Your content, ownership, and permissions

You retain ownership of your domain, photographs, logos, supplied writing, client records, and other material you provide. You give PA Digital Studio and its service providers a limited, nonexclusive license to host, copy, process, adapt, display, transmit, and deliver that material only as needed to provide, secure, support, and improve the Patsy service.

You are responsible for having the rights, releases, permissions, and lawful basis needed to upload and use the material, including photographs of clients or children, model and property releases, music, fonts, trademarks, and contact information. Do not upload material that infringes another person's rights, violates a duty of confidentiality, or is unlawful.

We do not receive marketing permission merely because you evaluate or subscribe to Patsy. We will request separate permission before using your identity, work, site, feedback, or results as a public endorsement or example.

Keep independent originals and backups. Patsy is not a permanent photograph archive, contract repository, bookkeeping system, or legal system of record. Export coverage can vary by record type.

AI-assisted work and your approvals

Patsy can answer questions, generate drafts, recommend prices or positioning, assemble website directions, and coordinate supported tools. AI output can be inaccurate, incomplete, generic, outdated, or unsuitable. You remain responsible for reviewing factual claims, prices, business promises, client communications, policies, and published work.

Patsy does not guarantee revenue, bookings, rankings, reviews, legal compliance, artistic quality, or business results. Business coaching, marketing, and SEO output is general operational guidance, not legal, accounting, tax, insurance, or financial advice.

Consequential actions supported by the founding release, including website publication and outbound review requests, are designed to show the affected item and record approval. Do not approve an action you have not reviewed. Report an unexpected action promptly so support can preserve and investigate the relevant records.

Websites, publishing, and domains

Website drafts and previews are not public commitments until deliberately published. Published versions can include reusable blocks, generated copy, supplied media, and approved custom sections. You are responsible for the accuracy and legality of the final site.

Trial and Essential customer pages include the subtle “Page by Patsy” attribution. Studio allows the photographer to keep or remove it. Removing, obscuring, or bypassing an attribution required by the active plan violates these terms.

Patsy can prepare a custom domain and provide exact DNS instructions. The photographer or domain administrator controls the external registrar and makes the final DNS change. DNS propagation, third-party registrars, email records, certificate timing, and search-engine behavior are outside Patsy's complete control. Keep the current site live until the replacement is tested and the intended cutover is confirmed.

Galleries, products, appointments, and outside providers

Private galleries, favorites, downloads, products, appointments, review requests, payments, and fulfillment can involve clients and third-party providers. You are the business responsible for your client relationship, service promises, prices, taxes, refunds, delivery terms, privacy notice, accessibility, and legal compliance.

Stripe controls payment processing and connected-account onboarding under Stripe's terms. Prodigi controls manufacturing, shipping, lab availability, and fulfillment pricing under Prodigi's terms. A provider outage, rejection, delay, loss, product change, or policy decision can affect the service. PA Digital Studio is not the manufacturer, carrier, card network, or bank.

Do not represent a sandbox order as a real order. Before live sales, confirm the connected accounts, product cost, markup, tax position, shipping destination, print asset, client approval, and refund policy. You remain responsible for answering the customer and resolving the sale.

Acceptable use

You may not use Patsy to:

  • Break the law, facilitate fraud, impersonate another person, or violate intellectual-property or privacy rights.
  • Upload malware, exploit security flaws, probe other workspaces, bypass access controls, or interfere with the service.
  • Send spam, deceptive review requests, harassment, threats, or unlawful marketing messages.
  • Scrape, resell, reverse engineer, or use the service to build a competing model or platform except where law expressly permits it.
  • Evade plan limits, create disposable accounts, game referrals, or use automated activity that creates unreasonable provider cost or risk.
  • Place highly sensitive information in a public chat or use Patsy as an emergency, medical, legal, financial, or safety-critical system.

Cancellation, refunds, suspension, and termination

Cancel during the trial

Cancel through the Stripe billing portal before the 14-day trial ends to prevent the first recurring charge. Deleting a browser session, stopping use, or sending an informal message is not the same as completing cancellation. Contact human support if the portal does not work.

Cancel after payment

A paid cancellation normally stops renewal and preserves access through the recorded paid period. Except where law requires otherwise or PA Digital Studio expressly agrees, fees already paid are nonrefundable. If a charge appears incorrect, contact us promptly so we can investigate before or alongside any payment dispute.

Data after cancellation

Cancellation can pause publishing, messages, fulfillment, AI actions, and other consequential work. It does not automatically delete account records. Back up required originals and business records before cancelling. Read the Privacy and Data Use Policy for retention and deletion requests.

Suspension or termination

We can suspend or terminate access for nonpayment, chargeback risk, security incidents, illegal or abusive use, provider restrictions, referral fraud, material breach, or risk to clients, other users, or the service. When reasonable, we will provide notice and an opportunity to resolve the issue. Serious or urgent risk can require immediate action.

Availability, warranties, and liability

Patsy is provided “as is” and “as available” to the maximum extent permitted by law. We do not promise uninterrupted or error-free service, permanent availability of a provider, perfect security, a particular search ranking, a minimum number of clients, or any specific business outcome.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, PA Digital Studio is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, lost profit, lost opportunity, lost goodwill, or loss of data arising from Patsy. PA Digital Studio's total liability arising from the service will not exceed the amount you paid for Patsy during the three months before the event giving rise to the claim. These limits do not apply where the law does not allow them.

You agree to defend and indemnify PA Digital Studio against third-party claims arising from your content, client relationships, products, services, unlawful use, or breach of these terms, except to the extent a claim was caused by PA Digital Studio's own unlawful conduct.

Changes and governing law

We can update these terms as the service changes. Material changes will be communicated through the service, email, or another reasonable notice. Continued use after the stated effective date means the updated terms apply.

Pennsylvania law governs these terms to the extent permitted, without applying conflict-of-law rules. Before filing a claim, both sides agree to make a good-faith effort to resolve the issue directly. Courts with appropriate jurisdiction in Pennsylvania will handle disputes unless applicable law requires another forum.
