Prepare a gallery
Keep independent originals
Maintain an authoritative backup outside the client-delivery platform. A gallery is a delivery surface, not the only copy of irreplaceable work.
Set access and delivery intentionally
Protect access with an expiring signed link or client PIN. Choose whether clients may download an original or allowed derivative. Private assets stay in tenant-scoped storage and are served through signed access rather than a public bucket.
Review the client view
Test the gallery on a phone and desktop, confirm file quality, and walk through the exact steps a client will take. Use a test client before the first paid delivery.
Understand storage and retention
Watch storage and photo-count meters
Essential includes 25 GB and 2,500 gallery photos. Studio includes 500 GB and 25,000 gallery photos. A new upload stops cleanly at either hard cap until capacity is freed or the plan is upgraded.
Do not use delivery storage as the only archive
Patsy galleries are active delivery storage, not a promise of permanent archival storage. Keep independent originals and avoid promising clients indefinite availability unless your own policy supports it.
Set expectations with clients
Tell clients what they receive, how long the delivery is expected to remain active, and why they should make their own backup. Update this language when the final retention policy is published.
