Getting started with Patsy

Go from a real photography-business question to useful guidance, then decide whether to create a Founding 100 account.

What is actually availableYou can ask Patsy a photography-business question publicly. Durable access begins after verified email, card-backed 14-day trial, and successful activation.

What you should take away

  • Public listing facts can be useful context when the photographer supplies them, but they are not required.
  • The first result is a working direction to review, not a promise that every fact is correct.
  • Nothing needs to replace the current website while you are evaluating the result.
  • A card are required when the 14-day trial account is created.

Create the first direction

Describe the studio

Tell Patsy what you photograph, where you work, and the type of client you want to reach. If you share public Google Business Profile facts, treat them as a starting point and verify them before reuse.

Give facts before preferences

Start with specialties, service area, offers, contact details, and constraints. Add aesthetic preferences after the basic facts are clear. This usually produces a more useful first pass than a list of design adjectives alone.

Expect placeholders when evidence is missing

If no portfolio work is supplied, Patsy can still establish structure and direction. The result should not imply that sample imagery is the photographer's own work. Replace any demonstration imagery before presenting the site as a finished portfolio.

Review before deciding

Check every business fact

Confirm the studio name, service area, specialties, contact details, prices, and calls to action. Public listing data can be incomplete or out of date, and Patsy should never be treated as the authority on your business facts.

Ask for specific revisions in ordinary language

Describe what feels wrong and what outcome you want. You do not need a prompt formula. The public conversation can refine the direction. After account activation, each website revision creates a new draft and immutable version without changing the public site.

Create an account only when Patsy feels useful

Verify your email, add a card, and complete trial activation when you want durable access. Choose Essential at $19 per month or Studio at $59 per month before the 14-day trial begins.
