Help and ownership
Ownership, exports, retention, and leaving
Separate what belongs to the photographer from what the platform hosts, generates, retains, or can export.
What you should take away
- The photographer's domain, photographs, and supplied creative material remain the photographer's.
- Export coverage varies by data type and is not yet fully published.
- The public privacy policy explains retention categories and deletion requests, but exact recovery and backup windows are not yet promised.
- A downgrade or cancellation should not begin until required records and files have been backed up.
What can be said now
Creative ownership stays with the photographer
Patsy's published position is that your domain, photographs, and supplied content remain yours. This statement does not by itself define every license required to host, process, display, or deliver the material.
Plan attribution has a defined boundary
Published trial and Essential pages include Page by Patsy. Studio lets the photographer keep or remove it. Durable account access begins only after successful founding activation.
Hands-on migration is separate work
Planning guides and checklists can be available without charge. Migration performed by PA Digital Studio is quoted before it begins, and Patsy does not claim one-click import where end-to-end support has not been verified.
What is published, and what is still incomplete
Export coverage
The final policy needs to list export formats and coverage for website content, images, leads, clients, bookings, contracts, messages, galleries, favorites, orders, reviews, and analytics. Until then, do not assume every record has a complete machine-readable export.
Retention and account deletion
The final policy needs clear windows for active storage, cancelled accounts, downgrades, backups, deleted records, and client gallery links. Those windows are not yet published.
AI and provider data use
The published Privacy and Data Use Policy names the AI, hosting, email, payment, fulfillment, and search providers; explains what each receives; links to provider policies; and describes Patsy's separate conversation retention. Keep highly sensitive client information and irreplaceable archives out of public AI conversations.
Back up before changing plans
Until the policies above are complete, keep independent copies of original photographs, business records, contracts, financial records, and any content that would be difficult to recreate.
